Please join me at several events to celebrate the publishing of Inappropriate Bodies: Art, Design and Maternity at CAA. A book presentation on Thursday February 13 from 12.30-1.30, (Waldorf Room, WCA Biz Meeting) Book Launch Friday February 14, 6.30 at Hilton 720 South Bar, hosted by Niku Kashef, and a CAA session Panel on Saturday February 15, 4-5.30 (Hilton room 4M) with contributors Rachel Epp Buller, and Charles Reeve, and contributors Niku Kashef, Jennie Klein, Alicia Harris, and Natalie Loveless. I am honored to have my work included in this volume, written about in Jennie Klein’s (amazing) essay

Through the Eyes of the Mother, on View in Korea by Miriam Schaer

My work will be part of Through the Eyes of the Mother, curated by Hye-Seong Lee. This exhibition began in Chicago, but is now on view at the Baekryum Gallery (Gwangju Art Association Building) in Gwangju Korea. Through the Eyes of the Mother explores women's roles and conditions in society with motherhood as the central focus of the exhibition.
